Read before purchasing
My terms and conditions, different sections for different typesBy commissioning me, purchasing any of my designs, or other processes involving my work, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.
General terms
| These terms may be updated at any time. |
| I reserve the right to republish my art on my social media. (Respective credits in the case of being the owner of a design). |
| The client cannot claim my work as their own. |
| The client may republish my work as long as they provide the corresponding credits to my socials. |
| I reserve the right to cancel an order prior to payment without giving explanations. |
| The client may make minor edits to the final artwork, such as cropping, adding text or borders, or adjusting brightness, contrast, hue, or saturation. |
| The client may not use my work for any commercial use unless discussed beforehand. |
| Any intended commercial use of commissioned artwork or adoptable designs must be disclosed in advance. Commercial usage is NOT included by default and will be subject to additional fees and/or separate licensing terms. |
| My art may NOT be used for NFTs, blockchain-related projects, or AI training. |
Commissions and art
| I hold the right to refuse any commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation. |
| I have the right to publish work-in-progress updates of the commission on my social media, unless specified by the client beforehand. |
| The client has the right to remain anonymous once the work is published. (This must be specified beforehand). |
| Payment will be made once the first rough sketch has been approved. |
| The commission will be on hold until the pending payment has been made. |
| The client has the right to contact me to ask for progress on their commission. |
| The waiting time for each commission is personalized and will depend on the type of work and the workload I have at that time. |
| The client has the right to ask beforehand about the waiting time for their commission. |
| The client agrees to maintain reasonable communication during the commission process. Any delays in providing responses or approvals may result in adjustments to the estimated delivery timeframe, as work cannot proceed without the client’s explicit consent. |
| If the client becomes unresponsive for a prolonged period, the commission may be cancelled without refund. |
| Watermarked WIPs will be provided at each stage of the commission process for client review. The client may request modifications at each stage before approval. Once a stage has been approved, no further revisions to that stage will be accepted. |
| If the client makes changes to the character reference or concept after the commission has already been approved (e.g. design changes, added or removed elements such as props or traits), edits on the commission may be discussed. However, I reserve the right to refuse such modifications. If accepted, additional fees will apply depending on the amount of work required. |
| The client is responsible for providing clear and accurate references. Miscommunication due to unclear instructions is not my responsibility. |
Designs and adoptables
| Holds may be available in flatsale designs; please ask beforehand. |
| Please note that hold requests are not guaranteed and may be declined without explanation. |
| The agreed hold deadline must be respected. If the payment is not completed on time, the hold will be cancelled and I reserve the right to decline future transactions. |
| Holds are not accepted for auction listings. Being an exception the “Auto-Buy” (AB) option. |
| No Payment plans on payments under 87€ (100 usd). |
| Payments must be made within 72 hours of claiming a design and/or winning an auction. (This does not apply to holds) |
| For an extra fee I can make minor changes to the design. |
| No refunds on adopts. |
| The purchase of an adoptable grants the buyer ownership of the character design. Unless otherwise stated, the original artwork and its copyright remain with the artist. |
| The adoptable may be resold or transferred. The seller must clearly credit the original artist and may not claim authorship of the design. |
| Minor and major design modifications are allowed. |
Payment
| Payments made via PayPal. |
| I work with euros (€); payments made in another currency will have to be equivalent to the conversion. |
| Client does not have to pay extra for the PayPal fees. This is against PayPal T.O.S. |
Refunds
| If the order is cancelled, a partial refund may be issued based on the stage of completion of the commission. |
| The client will not receive any files of the commission. |
| The client will not be refunded if they are unsatisfied with their commission. |
| If the client is unsatisfied with the commission due to subjective preferences, minor edits may be requested. More significant changes will be subject to additional fees. |
| If I forget or miss any details of the commission that were provided in the initial brief or agreed revisions, I will correct them free of charge. |
